This is an excellent Stereo card of the bazaar district of Jerusalem, Palestine. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 400 card set (the cards are numbered T1 to T400) from about the 1930’s. The card is titled “Christian Street, Motley Life in the Holy City’s Bazaar District, Jerusalem, Palestine.” and is numbered 228 with a Keystone negative number of V7357 T. This card is in excellent to near mint condition and measures 3 1/2″ by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Please note that the lighting I used to photograph these cards was a little uneven and so one side of the card may appear to be a little lighter or darker than the other & some have a little glare. The Stereoviews are fine. I will be listing more Stereoviews on a regular basis, so check back for more views. Don’t miss out! Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”. Domestic buyers (including Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, APO, or FPO) to prepay $10.00 shipping and handling for insured Priority Mail (mailed in a box) or $5.50 for Ground Advantage Mail (mailed in an envelope between two pieces of cardboard). All US shipping charges include delivery confirmation. First Class Mail to Canada is $16.00 and First Class Mail to the UK or most other countries is $20.00. Save on shipping by having multiple items shipped together. Shipping and handling for additional cards is just $0.25 each to the US, $1.50 each to Canada, or $2.00 each worldwide if paid for and shipped together.
