Water Purification
Raw materials in the water treatment process facilitate water recovery and purification. These materials include various disinfectants such as chlorine and chlorine dioxide, which are used as oxidants and disinfectants in water purification processes. In addition, activated carbon is another raw material that is used to absorb organic pollutants and water-soluble chemicals. Aluminum sulfate is also used as one of the raw materials to activate the processes of descaling and purifying water from solid sediments. Generally, these primary chemicals help to convert contaminated water into usable water and improve the water treatment process.
